ABOUT ME

My name is Francesca Romana Perazzelli, I am a creative and designer.

I create artistic objects for home décor that, going beyond commercial standards, bring a unique and personal touch to living spaces. My work is born from a passion for both home décor and art. Each piece originates either from a hand-painted canvas or from fine yarns, transformed into plaid blankets using the jacquard piquet technique. Every creation is unique and designed to turn the home into a treasure chest of emotions and small wonders to be lived every day.

The style I propose is fluid and dynamic, guided by colours and abstract forms that become the true protagonists of the work. Through painting and illustration, I seek to represent a modern and abstract vision of reality; I am drawn to images, colours, and their evocative power, to how they interact to create new perceptions. I imagine a world of abstract yet imperfect forms that celebrate the richness of diversity in reality.

My professional journey began in 2006 as a womenswear designer. From 2010 to 2017 I lived in South Africa, where I worked as a consultant designer, stylist, and illustrator. Cape Town quickly became a fertile ground for growth, and in 2013 I launched INSIDEOUT BAGS, a leather recycling project that gave life to a line of handmade oversized bags. In 2017 I returned to Italy, to Rome, where I collaborated with various companies in the fields of textile design and social media. I also volunteered in Burkina Faso, supporting the development of ethical and sustainable fashion through organic cotton projects.

I love creating bespoke projects and I am open to collaborations with like-minded realities that share my way of feeling and creating. I believe in projects that grow from constructive exchange.
